Our mission is to provide a framework for adult and juvenile probationers in order for them to become productive citizens of the community. The Tribal Probation Department can provide rehabilitative measures by offering diversion opportunities, educational opportunities, treatment opportunities, compliance incentives, job training opportunities, which will instill work habits, give the probationer a sense of self-worth, which will aid in maintaining the family unit, fulfill fine obligations, fulfill incarceration requirements, pay restitution, satisfy the probationers debt to society, and be released from Probation/Parole as successful.

Our Work
CSKT Tribal Probation serves Tribal Members enrolled in a Federally Recognized Tribe, and consists of Adult clients whom have been convicted of a criminal offense and Juvenile clients whom have had citations issued to investigate and recommend appropriate dispositions.
We are proud to serve the CSKT membership by providing rehabilitative services by offering personalized case plans consisting of meeting the needs of each individual with referrals made to appropriate agencies.
Meeting with clients at the minimum of monthly in person and weekly by phone helps to monitor progress and needs of the client to ensure they are meeting their court ordered or informal agreements and making recommendations to guide client along in society.
Our office is mindful of public safety and justice for victims when considering recommendation options. Monitoring by GPS, SCRAM, and other devices is recorded by our office for monitoring and compliance purposes.
Educational Opportunities
The CSKT Tribal Juvenile Probation Program is currently offering quarterly relevant educational opportunities with some life skills and cultural components intertwined. This offers service learning hours and cultural hours.
Accessing Services
Services are not publicly accessed. They are only accessed by referral of the CSKT Court and CSKT Tribal Police and other Juvenile Probation Agencies for Juveniles.
