The Tribal Pesticide Circuit Rider Program is a cooperative agreement effort by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 8, CSKT, Blackfeet, Crow and Northern Cheyenne Tribes to implement the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) in Indian Country. FIFRA is a national law that regulates pesticides use and educates pesticide users and to protect public health and the environment.
We conduct routine pesticide use inspections on businesses, farms and non-agricultural establishments. We respond to any for cause calls or reports including pesticide drift, exposure and poisonings. Our goal is to reduce pesticide use and misuse in Indian country.
