    It is important for wolf management that CSKT member hunters fill out hunter questionnaire and return unfilled permits to the Division of Fish, Wildlife, Recreation, Conservation office (406 6th Ave East, Polson) by May 31st of each year. Issuance of next season permits depend on return of unused permits and questionnaires.

    Deer and elk Doe/Cow harvest seasons, the Northwest Zone for Gray Wolf hunting and Trapping, Little Money / Camas Bighorn Sheep Hunting Season, Gray Partridge and the Yellowstone Bison Hunting season opens. Be sure to obtain a new Permit and updated Hunting Regulations from the Division of Fish, Wildlife, Recreation and Conservation for the new hunting season each year prior to the hunting season to stay up-to-date on management and regulation changes.

  • Special two-day Youth Waterfowl Season

    Special Youth Pheasant and Waterfowl Hunting Days encourages youth participation in pheasant and waterfowl hunting and conservation. Legally licensed hunters 12-15 years of age may hunt pheasants and legally huntable species of migratory waterfowl on these dates if accompanied in the field by a non-hunting adult at least 21 years of age.
