Our Work
Facilities & Maintenance Department is proud to serve the CSKT government, its programs and thereby its citizens by providing clean, safe and well-maintained facilities. We employ 52 full time service workers assigned to tribal owned public properties. These maintenance professionals address a wide range of work orders submitted by tribal departments with tasks such as office moves, repairing structural damage, restoring infrastructure failures, and preventative maintenance. The management team has exponentially increased project performance by contracting with SKMM (a tribal entity) which enables the department to launch multiple projects and control spending. Groundskeepers also maintain landscape and parking areas by removing snow and debris, and caring for fences, curb-stops, seating, and other public use amenities. You will see our staff at some of our building entrances to greet the public, assist in locating appropriate personnel, and maintain safe and secure access points.
Thank you for helping keep our facilities clean, safe, and available to the public!
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I contact your department?
During regular business hours, you can reach us by phone at (406)675-2700 ext. 1056 or by emailing info@csktdepartment.org. For after-hours emergencies, please call 406-830-4112.
Who is eligible for your services?
Facilities and Maintenance Department is funded by CSKT to support its overall mission to operate tribal services for the benefit of its citizens. F&M works with tribal executives to strategize the government-wide approach to protecting CSKT assets and keeping those in service to the public. F&M is not funded nor authorized to perform services for other tribal entities, corporations, or private individuals. All work is planned through and for CSKT departments and the programs it operates. The F&M management team receives work orders through the CSKT help ticket system, as generated by its employees. Tickets are prioritized and assigned for completion in an expedient manner.
