What grade levels participate in the annual River Honoring?
Grades 4th and 5th participate. Students focus on one “educational loop” each year, getting the entire experience over two years. Students from the Flathead Reservation as well as surrounding communities participate.
What grade levels participate in the annual Lake Honoring?
High school Science classes are the participants. Flathead Reservation schools as well as surrounding communities participate in presentations put on by CSKT, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, and the University of Montana Biological Station. The event participants visit both Blue Bay and Yellow Bay the Flathead Lake.
