The CSKT Tribal Court exercises and protects the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes, providing a forum for the enforcement of Tribal law and the administration of justice, while honoring its culture. The CSKT Tribal Court is a progressive court having evolved from the early Dixon era to the current court system. Tribal law places the judicial power of CSKT in the Tribal Court and Tribal Appellate Court. Guided by the CSKT Laws Codified, the Tribal Court decides a wide range of cases including both criminal and civil suits, traffic, fish and game, small claims and family youth court cases.

All fees are non-refundable. The Court only accepts money orders or cashier’s checks made payable to “CSKT Tribal Court.” Personal checks will be accepted from attorneys or law firms only.
