Good Thursday morning,
Tribal Credit continues to experience limited services today as we await the full restoration of our CORE software provider. The provider expects restoration to occur sometime today, though no specific time has been provided. We are currently standing by for their call to verify our data and restore complete access for staff. As of 5:30 AM today, the provider reports that approximately 50% of CORE services have been verified and restored for their customer base, and no breach of data has occurred. We are among several institutions affected, most of which are full‑service credit unions.
PAYMENT PROCESSING
We are able to take payments by phone (debit card) and in person (cash or check). For all payments, we will issue a temporary receipt noting the date received. Banking processes will continue as usual for these payments.
LENDING SERVICES
Loan applications remain available, and we continue to assist customers with submitting required information. However, lending decisions cannot be made until full access to the CORE software is restored. Likewise, previously approved loans that were scheduled for completion cannot be finalized at this time.
ANTICIPATED RECOVERY PROCEDURES
Once our system access is fully restored, staff will enter and post all payments using the date shown on the temporary receipt. Official receipts will then be mailed or emailed to each customer.
Lending and support staff will resume processing loan applications as quickly as possible. Tribal Credit uses a customer service board system to track the order and status of applications. You may call us if you have questions about your loan, keeping in mind that the most accurate update may be the number of applications ahead of yours. Allowing staff to focus on processing will help us move through applications more efficiently.
You will receive a phone call when your loan processing appointment can be scheduled, based on the order in which your application was received. Tribal Credit processes loans on a first‑in, first‑out basis to ensure equal consideration for all applicants. While we strive to respond within three days, recent application volumes have made this difficult. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
