
The Department of Human Resource Development strives to help the unhoused on the reservation. The Warming Center in Pablo offers bunk beds and warm means to unhoused people. The center is open to everyone as guests, but CSKT tribal members have priority for overnight stays during the months of November through March.

Warming center – Expanded hours
The expanded hours are a pilot program acknowledging the importance of continued contact with our guests. We encourage CSKT case managers to make appointments with guests in the Warming Center. Effective April 2025, the center will have guest WIFI.

The Warming Center will be open from April 7, 2025 to October 31, 2025 on a Monday & Thursday Schedule (2 days) 8 am – 4 pm
- April 2025 – October 2025 – Excluding the month of July
- The center is open two days a week for showers and laundry as well as replenishing the comfort bags including hats, hygiene products, and water. CSKT case managers are welcome to schedule guest case management meetings at the center during the days. Effective April 2025, the Center administration building will have WIFI available.
Please note if extreme weather occurs, this schedule will change. Our operation will pivot to a cooling center operation.
The CSKT Tribes celebrate traditional and cultural pow wow’s and activities in the month of July. The warming center will be closed during this month except for extreme extended heat, at which time the center will remain open.
