Our Work
The CSKT Water Management and Planning Program performs and implements many of the technical requirements outlined within the CSKT-Montana Compact. Included in this is water supply planning and forecasting, water conservation strategies, irrigation water management, and instream flow management. Many of the program’s functions ultimately contribute to irrigation water efficiency, aquatic habitat improvement, protection and perpetuation of cultural values, and tribal water stewardship goals. The program utilizes partnerships with state, federal, non-governmental, and private organizations to develop innovative solutions to water management within the framework of Compact Implementation.
